On Friday, July 17, 2015, we lost a special soul. Glenn Salyers was involved in a motorcycle accident, which had taken his life. When I received the news that Saturday morning, I was in disbelief. Fuck, Im still in disbelief! Glenn was taken way too soon.
Glenn and I were working on a project together, but that project was unfortunately cut short. I compiled all the clips we had in this short lil edit. Glenn was a fucking shredder! Burly and tech! A rare human! He was so good and so smooth! He was honestly one of my favorite riders...to ride and film with!
You will be missed Glenn! The BMX world has lost a legend! Love you dude!
Early on Saturday, Dew Tour threw a little-known event by the name of Futures, inviting 12 of the best AM (couple of exceptions here) street riders under the age of 25 in the midwest to come show what the future of BMX will look like…definitely a few dudes in this that I’m sure you’ll be seeing more of in the future. Shout out to Dew Tour for having an event like this. Lots of local Albe's guys and team riders killed it!
Final Results: 1. Cory Wiergowski 2. Mikey Tyra 3. Connor Keating 4. Matt Lough 5. Jamie Thayer 6. Chase Krolicki 7 . Nick Bullen 8. Pat Richert 9. Alex Duleba 10. Dylan Thayer 11. Kreg Delano 12. Dylan McCaule
Nick's new seat has been out for a few months now and has become one of the best selling seats we've had in years. This is a fun little promo that we had Alex Burnside cook up. Give it a watch and share with your friends. If you'd like to order a seat use the link below.
Remember when Tyler Fernengel was so young and small that we didn't even have Albe's shirts that would fit him and he's make his own? Well flash forward to the present day and he's doing shit like this! This is just a teaser. I can't wait for the finished product to be released!
Our boy Glenn Salyers has been super underrated for years now. I think this video may help get him a little more of the credit he deserves. Sit back and enjoy this one and be ready to say "holy shit" several times
