Dew Tour Update from Austin Coleman

So the first stop of the dew tour is finished. somewhere amidst the local bar scene, street riding sessions, hotel parties and late night lobby fiestas at the sheraton, there was a bmx contest. A couple of them in fact.

The weather wasn't so good. people were getting blown off the dirt course into the stands during practice. the vert ramp transformed into a wind tunnel, and it was raining every hour on the hour for the fist couple of days. The result: lots of downtime, pranks in the athlete lounge, and pissing off hotel employees. I don't think the Dew Tour will be invited back to the sheraton in downtown baltimore. Spinner, Daniel and I were putting Albe's stickers all over the riders from those other mail order guys.
After the first few incidents, people were on high alert and we started having to hold riders down, but we got the job done.

During the BMX park comp, team Albe's had it locked down at podium spots 1 and 2. Mike Spinner pulled some Mike Spinner stuff; 720 whip, 900, and of course an attempt at that 1080, an MTV Camera crew also came into our room at 5am to go shoot Mike shoot another segment for NBC at 6am. 2 camera crews. and 720s. at 6 in the morning. He came in second. Daniel Dhers loves his maroon colored Albes shirt and hasn't taken it since China. He won the park comp and did more tricks in his run then i did all weekend. Golden crab for daniel.
