Albe's BMX Mail Order

So Dane Wild, Kris K and I flew down to Florida yesterday to come to the Baco comp.  We flew into town Thursday night and met up with Mike Spinner to ride the Van's park here in Orlando to start the weekend off.  Our buddy Brett R. from out this way filmed and edited the session for your enjoyment.  Check it out.

Chicago Road Trip 10/06

Craig's second Albe's blog cover photo in a row.  We voted and decided that if this whole weekend was a contest then Craig won.

So this past weekend we were invited to ride at Jaimy Spritzer's new back yard.  If you don't know why that is a big deal then you need to pay attention.  2 weeks ago RedBull Came to Jaimy's house and built the ramp to end all ramps.  Ya see Jaimy was the lucky dude picked to host the Redbull back yard build off.  You know how we never turn down a chance for a good road trip to we piled a select few into the Albe's bus and headed to Chicago for the weekend.

So last Sunday Afro Pat invited us down to Cleveland Oh. to come ride his trails as he was having a trail jam.  The shit ass rainy weather shot that idea to hell but it all worked out in the end because we got to ride what was probably the best skate park in the world since Chenga 1.

Well the BMX derby Week is over and it was a doosy.  Derrick G. won in the FBM car and Sparks drove the Albe's car to 6th place.  It was a great time.  Albe's won the bowling trophy, our car was painted 3 times, many new friends were made, drinks were a flowing, people were singing and dancing, many many photos were shot of good and bad things and we even rode our bikes a little.  BMX is a wonderfull sport and get togethers like this shows that the people invloved in our sport are awesome as well.

Demo derby 06' update # 2

Last year I drove the Albe's car so i decided it would be fair to let one of our team guys drive this year.  the problem is i needed to pick a person fairly.  Somebody came up with the bright idea of having the guys play a game of C-Low to see who gets to drive.  After we finished the car today we had Marco from props come over to film the C-Low game of a lifetime.  The game consisted of:

Demo derby 06' update # 1

Baco Jam...

Jason Suchan came out of retirement to gap this golf cart to an uphill sandy landing crash. He then quickly went back into retirement. CLICK THE PHOTO TO SEE HIM "GO BIG"

So at some point in the middle of last week we decided that we were going to go to the BACO Jam in Wi.  Friday rolled around and we piled 10 people and 10 bikes into the Albe's bus and we started the 9 hour drive.

Road Trip Update # 6 (Greenville NC.)

Matt Carmickle had a broken foot this whole trip but couldn't resist riding at Ryan Nyquist's UNIT SkatePark.

We weren't about to let a blown transmission slow us down.  We rented a truck in Team Pimpske fashion and headed towards our next stop which just happened to be Ryan Nyquist's new super warehouse called "The Unit" in Pro Town USA, Greenville, NC.

Road Trip Upadte # 5 (Merritt Island)

Shanton doesn't mess around.  He looped the box as a set up to do this wall tap over the big sub.

The SECRET spot....... I know what the SECRET spot is do you? Well i would say you don't but you will in the next update, Ha Ha Ha

Its around 1 in the afternoon and everyone is waking up to get there clothes repacked and there spots on the bus cleaned up. I decided last night as we were driving back to spinners to take a brand new JUMBO bag of pretzels and throw them at Flip and all round the bus while everyone was passing out. so me and "Kermit de Frog" Carmicheal did the dirty deed and cleaned the bus up and made it smell like Florida Oranges.

Road Trip update # 4 (Miami)

Dane Wild had a kid offer him his bike last year if he pulled this icepick grind and he did.  He just took a buck. Dane did it again this trip and this time we got a photo.

We got to Mike Spinners house at the ass crack of 8:30 am.  We said hello to mike and then PASSED OUT.  This was probably the most tired I've been on the trip for sure.  After about 3 hours of sleep we woke up and decided to go get some food and head off to the beach in Ft.Lauderdale.
