Albe's BMX Mail Order: LOTS OF NEWS!!!

DK bikes set my son Kase up with a 12" General Lee and he's pretty stoked. So am I since he learned how to walk at 9 months old and manualed his first rail at 10 months.

It's the middle of the summer and we have been busy bees so i'm sorry we have slacked a little on the updates. Click below for tidbits about what's going on with the Albe's crew.

Dane Wild went out to NY a few weeks ago to film some stuff with the FBM guys. While he was there he was invited on an Etnies road trip with Aaron Ross, Tony Hamlin, and Stew Johnson starting in Boston Ma. In the first few days he broke a rail grinding up it and did a number on his leg. He kept riding anyways. He don't need no stinkin' doctor.

Our first international team rider Daniel Dhers is making his mark on the sport. Last month he shocked many by placing 3rd. in park at the Louisville stop of the Dew Tour. Last week at the Denver stop HE WON!!! That's right. Daniel is the top spot in points for the series and $15,000 richer. Congrats to Daniel again. If for some reason you find yourself at woodward sometime this summer you may run into him and he may tailwhip over you.

Our newest team member Chad Kagy also did well in Denver. 2nd place in vert right behind Bestwick. Flatspins are probably one of the coolest things i've ever seen anybody do on a bike. and let's not forget about our beloved Austin Coleman who made the street finals, seems as though we were very well represented in Colorado. nice job, boys.

Mike Spinner has been reppin' Albe's at Woodward most of the summer. 720 tailwhip???? Think it's real??? Guess you'll have to wait and see. Scope the one of a kind Albe's T- Mike is wearing.

I suggest you make your way to Rochester NY for the Kink Demolition Derby. The second annual BMX Demo Derby is going down on Wed 7/26. Picture a bunch or personalties in BMX piling into a bunch of shitty cars and smashing the crap out of eachother. The Albe's and Team Young Crew will be jumping in the Albe's bus Sat 7/22 and heading out that way.

Below is our schedule:

7/23 (sunday) Xdreams park in Rochester NY. for FBM comp
7/24 (monday) Kink has made arrangements for all the Derby team to compete against eachother in bowling...that's right...bowling.
7/25 (tuesday) We get our derby car and spend the day setting it up. wait till you see what we have in store!!
7/26 DERBY DAY!!!

Wow, looks like a lot of fun. Oh yeah, the new Windows "Live" stuff (www.live.com) is utilizing the RSS feed stuff and it's awesome, because now I can just see what's new at Albes, FBM, Transam, and DirtySouth, all in one stop. Oh, and I wish I could be like Dhers.

Don't forget the big PARTY on tuesday night!!! I rented a huge bar out with upstairs and downstairs bars. It has 3 pool tables, 3 dart boards and an air hockey table. YEAH AIR HOCKEY!!! Plus an outdoor patio with yet another bar and 2 full sand volleyball courts. Free pizza, wings and quesadilla's. Oh yeah and the boat...yeah the boat!!! I got the biggest tube you've ever seen with Turbo's name on it. Prepare to ROCK!!!
